this poll doesn't have my answer. whilst i don't consider the stones to be a particularly "imporant rock band" these days (listen to ABB if you need convincing), I DON'T WANT THEM TO RETIRE.

that said, i still voted that they're imporant. they are the greatest rock N roll band in history, after all . . .

p.s. boston2006, if you want more IORRers to vote, i suggest you change the title of this thread. try something like "VOTE STONES" "SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR THE STONES" or . . ."RINGO COMMENTS ON THE STONES"

Up to 41% when I voted ...for "still an all imprtant Rock Band"

Ha ha! "Ringo comments on the Stones," that cracked me up...

I voted yesterday. Results were poor, but now it seems to highing up in the good direction. C'mon IORR vote !

Well, if you have the time - just go there and vote! Actually, I went to Cape Cod once (was working in Cambridge/Boston/Harvard). The people were really so NOT nice. Filthy rich, but totally lacking style and most qualities I apreciate in a person. Let's give'em the news paper poll from HELL! Vote for the Stones.
