If you wanna spend 450 euro on 2 hours of music, then I you're either very, very wealthy or totally nuts. Offcourse I hope you're wealthy...

If Keith is well and I get a coconut from himself, than it`s worth 450,- .

If not I prefer FOS 130 ;-))

Really, really interesting - seems in whole Europe On-stage tickets are 450 Euro - except in Vienna, here they are 1.000 Euro!!

Perhaps it depends on which tier the boxes are? Where are our tickets for the ghost Vienna show?

funny - the european shows are cheaper than the US shows in general (except those now in the UK with seats) - so they're making up for the lost money with the on-stage tickets - they were half that price in the US.

>> funny - the european shows are cheaper than the US shows in general <<

it is weird indeed! i wonder if they've revamped the onstage boxes somehow to make it more like something worth that much -
or if they're at least having fewer people per box, and only charging this for the boxes with good sightlines?
(some people were reporting that when you have to stand behind someone else in the boxes you really can't see anything,
and that some of the boxes have pretty poor sightlines, which is why there were two price ranges for them in the States.)

Keith, be well - all the way, baby, all the way

Yessss they should not have anymore than 6 per box. I was OnStage upper stage right, box 12 in Hartford and during Get up Stand up I sorta half stepped away to be considerate so I can sneeze and the others swallowed up my spot and i never got up to the railing again. No you CAN NOT see unless you are at the railing. In that box and i'd imagine upper stage Left box 12, the huge lighting structures that stick out block the very front part of the stage. You had to bend your knees a bit to see it. I still enjoyed it very much HOWEVER, I had Lower stage Left Box 2 and 3 for Giants Stadium and Hershey and the views were just fine. I also did not move from my spot at all LOL. As far as pricing I paid $275 whether upstairs or downstairs. $75 ones never came up at all on Ticketmaster for me although 2 guys I was waiting with in Hartford got $75 OnStage upper box 10 (which has a better view) when they simply were looking for a cheap ticket.

These boxes seem reasonable at $275. I don't think that they are worth 450 Euro. There are some pics of the view on various sites. You should look at these before you buy.

I have some crappy cameraphone pics from up there.

Rentschler Field - Upper Stage Right Box 12

Giants Stadium - Lower Stage Left Box 3

Hersheypark Stadium - Lower Stage Left Box 2
Just the last picture

I loved it up there all 3 times. I am glad that my first show was in the upper box because I think it would had been a let down going from Lower to Upper.

IF the currency converter I used to go Euro to Dollar, then I don't know if I would had gone 3 times at $575 each. Definitely not for an Upper Box.

@nick:

Onstage tickets in Germany are 531 EUR = 679 US$ - this is insane - especially for any upper box! I´m not surprised you can still get onstage (upper and lower) tickets for all the shows which went on sale yesterday as of today - 4pm.

Too bad I did not get any onstage tickets for the US shows last year, but at this price I will not buy any tickets - not even for a club show..

I´d really like to know who´s to blame for the ridicolous pricing - I guess it has to do with the German promoter also not just Cohl.

I still have hope they will give away some free tix to fanclub members like last year..

WOW! No way is it worth that. As much as I enjoyed being up there it can also be looked at as a "behind the stage" seat. Even if it was for a pair it still is $60 higher per ticket than it was here. That is absolutely stunning.

Surprise, Surprise:
They now lowered the prices for onstage tickets from 531 to 450 EUR (~574 US $) - still twice the price compared to the lower level onstage tickets in the US. Still plenty for sale - that´s not a surprise..

For me it's not even an option.. can't afford to pay 450 euro(did you say 450?!) for a Stones ticket. And if I could, I'd never find anyone crazy enough to come with me, so I'll be all alone too..

No thanks!!
