In 1981, I paid $15 to see The Stones with Van Halen and The Henry Paul Band as the openers. It was the most I'd ever paid for a ticket till that time. Worth every penny and then some.

What about prices in the 60's and 70's. Who were some of the better openers?

1965----Circus Krone, munich 6,90 DM--3,40 euro

I paid : 1976 - Earls Court, London.....£2.50 (Pounds Sterling) !

'78 Anaheim Stadium, Southern California........i'm pretty sure the ticket was under $10.......the openers were: Etta James, The Outlaws & Peter Tosh (Mick came out to do a duet on "Don't Look Back")

In 1976 (or 75?) I paid $10 to see The Allman Brothers, Beach Boys and the new band at the time,The Eagles in Texas. It was the most I had ever paid for a concert at the time...the $10 barrier was broken!

1997 - field tickets not far from the b-stage in Foxboro October 20th $85.Solid set list except Miss You was pretty bad.B- stage was Little Queenie,Crazy Mama,& The Last Time.

Please keep it Stones related or we'll be hearing Woodstock stories all night!
