OT - Africa 2006

In my opinion the best music being made in 2006 comes from Africa, I think all rock n roll fans should check out the following artists -
Cheikh Lo
Habib Koite
Tiken Jah Fakoly
Amadou et Mariam
And also some artist like the sadly recenly deceased Ali Farka Toure and the John Le Hooker of Africa. Boubacar Toure.
A lot of people on this board like Howlin Wolf, Lee Scratch Perry, The Meters, and many other great black artists, If you want to check out where the real stuff is in 2006, Africa is where its at.

I had the pleasur to see the very last concert played by Ali Farka Toure, last year in Lisbon.
What a great guy he was!, and a wonderful musician as well!!!
