IORR poster reference page
Posted by: CindyC ()
Date: April 21, 2006 19:43

Hello IORRs,

Yesterday on a thread Lukester, Baboon Bro and I were discussing how we sometimes get our fellow posters mixed up.

I noticed on one of the other sites like Shidoobee or Rocks Off that they have a birthday page. We thought it might be a nice idea if we had a quick reference page somewhere as well with ***VOLUNTARY *** information if you want to give it (age, location, etc).

Of course, we'd have to see if BV would be kind enough to do this for us, but I was curious if people would want it or find it helpful. If the response is overwhelmingly positive, it might be something he might consider adding.

Can you post here with a yes or no. If yes, what would you like the list to look like?

Thanks.
CindyC

Cool by me. I got nothing to hide.

Would use a little caution though, as a few nut cases out there (and on here).

Hey, I'm all for it - It'd be good for us to get to know who's in the area or get a picture of who we're ranting and raving at winking smiley

Perhaps it should include:
Name
Birthday
Location
e-mail
AIM/Messenger Screenname

Anything else?

Go ahead Elmo, that would be great.

OK! Now there are close to 50 hits on this, but I have only heard from 3 people. Can you guys just give a yes or no? I'm not going to bite your head off if you say no.

Leonard - i suggest we use your data as the default profile for all members...then we can just make any tweaks as necessary rather than have to enter the redundant data individually...

Hey guys, I wasn't asking for you to post your info now! HAHAHA, just if you want to see if BV will set up a form that we can fill out and see posted somewhere! Silly boys!

Now Leonard - Get your fat ass of the couch! Do I have to come out there and smack my bitch up?

Ok, in that case you're excused. But if you're still being a bone-head on Monday, then we have problems. :-)

high ,

good idea, I'm interested in knowing 'bout people using this site.
maybe with a scale to place a photo , e-mail contact, hometown.
such info could be helpful if someone needs contanct not only online, but real time. Or a place to rest a weary head - we all "need someone we could lean on", as mick jagger sings. Good luck for that, and may BV hear and act -

grrrrrrrrretings to you all, yeager

All I'm willing to leave is my Social Security #, My Checking Acct #, My Credit Card #'s, My Birthday (Aug. 20th) cause it's the same as Robert Plant's and Leo's rule !!! Musician ? Yeah, that one's OK - Guitar, Attempt at singing (sound better than Rick whatever - The Cars guy so F it.) Bands we put together (from the latest) PUS, Blue Valium, Voodoo Stick Men...Sound like Pearl Jam on the verge of a Heroin overdose.... Guitars MB owns - Dark Cherry 70's Les Paul, Black SG, Black Strat, Deep Blue Telecaster, The one Jimmy Page plays KASHMIR and IN MY TIME OF DYING on, starts with a D. (actually very cheap that one), Ovation Acoustic Electric (like the double neck Jimmy plays in UNLEDDED (but mine's only a 6 string), YAMAHA acoustic, 12 string, shit, can't remember...AMPS 1 MARSHALL, 1 FENDER the club size, no double stack stuff....Mics - Shure 57 is it, whatever Plant used to use...
