Listening to Dirty Work-am I insane?
Posted by: J.J.Flash ()

What's wrong with me. I listened to the whole thing without skipping around.

a) I'm clearly insane
b) It's a good enough album to revisit occasionally
c) You're so lazy you can't muster the energy to skip a song
d) a&c
e) none of the above
f) it's a kick-ass album with GUITARS!!!!!!!!
I predict 85% will say the album is god-awful, 10% will say it's good and 5% will say this post sux!

You did skip back to Zero, didn't you?! Don't lie to me!

No, not insane, just seriously disturbed.

If you can get through Back to Zero, I commend you for your strength. I don't have a problem with the rest of the album although it's not my favorite, I do listen to selected songs when driving. But back to zero, I think I would wake from a coma to change that one.

Great album.

Love it.

Listen to it regularly.

Don't see the problem.

Good songs, wrong production. Dirty Work itself is a very good song, it rocks!

Yeah, I dig half of Dirty Work.
The rest half, can be played, while waiting for the gems.
I see good things in them too.
I'm with with sssoul on the guitars on this album, besides Jagger has some cool and angry phrases.

?? I thought those girls were pretty. I just am not too big on the ass shots.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

Yeah. Every song on there is great. But the highlight is Dirty Work itself; the guitars are straight from heaven.. can't see how ANYBODY could ignore this..

THat's true. The outtakes are much better! Even the alternate takes of the released songs.

I'm partial to Harlem Shuffle and Fight. That said, I still listen to it about as often as I do ABB.

Which is to say, never.
