I was just browsing YouTube and came across this one i had never seen before. Its always great to see Keith, not only harmonizing but doing it on the same mike as Mick. How can we get them to sing together again??

Its from tour rehearsals in Montreux, Switzerland, 21 May 1972

About 25 minutes were broadcast later that summer on BBC's "Old Grey Whistle test"

although if you listen to the end of "loving cup" closely, the closing part seems to be the "Exile" version overdubbed

I saw this on there about a month ago or so. I almost cried when I saw it as I didn't know it existed so it was like finding a lost treasure. Very very awesome indeed, and such a beautiful heart-felt song.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

Hey Cindy. Heard Loving cup at the globen show in Stockholm in 2003. Great for sure. Love that song. I`m the man on the mountain. Come on up!

very cool. It seems that Keith's and other voice? background vocals are overdubbed. But great to see them having fun.

Seeing that song live.... I don't know what I would do, i would be floating on air. How was it?

Hey, I just noticed there's another Cyndy on this board logged in. Now there's two of us, cool! Unless she's been here first, I should check.

>> the closing part seems to be the "Exile" version overdubbed <<

true: in the last part they're like not even trying to make it look real.
i love it anyway - that number's so fine, and all the Montreux footage is very cool indeed -
and of course Keith's penchant for playing acoustic standing up with no guitar strap is endlessly fascinating. :E

"What do you want - what?!"

It`s hard to discribe how it was, Cindy. It`s even hard to remember. Think I was floating on air, as you put it. But soooo great.

F&*@ing amazing. Keith was using a capodastra, couldn't see clearly what position though, probably 5th. Anyone knows if he was using an open tuning?

This is a common video, easily available anywhere...
Perfect quality...1972 tour Rehearsals..

Tracks include 2 Blues Jams, Shake Your Hips, 2 versions of Tumbling Dice and Loving Cup..

Rough, but irresistable.

Yes, where is this footage of the rehearsal sessions? How do I find it?

Isn't this just synching to the studio version? Charlie's drumming doens't match the beat, Keith isn't even singing in parts, the horns aren't really there, and where is the female singing backup?
