Bill lets get this over one way or the other

All Bill has to do is say to Charlie is I want to play with the boys on a UK tour
will you ask the boys ??
Then the boys can say yes or no
Then thats it.
Bill is right when he says the fans would love him to play again but sounds like he would not do a full world tour and who can blame him they are very long.
If tours where like they were in the 60s or 70s.
First a Uk tour then a tour of Europe then a USA tour But now its 2 years all the world and yes we are lucky to have the world tours. But I can see his point.
I would like him to do the next album & maybee a short tour to promote the album.
I think this will be the last big big tour but lets hope not.
It would be nice to see them all toghether again.
Im glad Bill has now said his real reasons to stop touring with the boys. His life had to get back to something like normal.
Well that seems to be done so Bill lets talk to the boys direct and not just throuh the press.
Afterall im sure he has Mick & Keith telephone number.

As much as I love Bill's playing and prefer it to what came in it's aftermath (no pun intended), let's face it, it's "over".

Secondly--at what point, does calling a bunch of men in their sixties, "boys" seem ridiculous?

it be nice...but i don't think jagger would go for it...he never likes to look back...plus jones is a lot less than bill be..ha...
anyway i love to see bill rejoin the men...for that matter i'd like to see taylor back too....ha...

they could do just 1 concert in philly with taylor and wyman.....that's a great idea!

Let's remember one thing. He is an original Stone. From the very begining.

Jagger50 - don't count Taylor's contributions lightly!!

He & Jagger were doing alot of the writing & working out of songs during,
Sticky Fingers, Exile, Goats head soup & IORR!!!

Why do you think Jagger was so much more pissed about him leaving than Richards??

He's always said there's no doubt he'll do it if they ask him.. but leaving a band and then begging for another show with 'em would make him look pathetic.

I'm more interested in hearing Bill record w/ "the boys" than tour. The sound is crappy in those giant stadiums and the albums have been lacking in "bounce".

And why not? The Kinder would love it. JJ Flash would have some real meaning then!

the solid foundation of the whole house...
the steady bottom, melodic ascension and propulsion and perfectly woven with charles and sir keith...not only 'there' for it all...

...but an essential part of that revelatory mysterious brew and exchange of characters that made the whole glorius phenom...imnsho

...a pivotal and essential component.

u can rewrite history but you can't really change it...

many will disagree, i've sen a lot of the treads and posts...
he's nothing...he's pathetic...
peeps say all kindsa cwazy sheeit...me 2 i guess...
but like u say:

he is an original Stone. From the very beginning.

and then for over THIRTY years on every essential piece of work they ever put out...LIVE and on EVERY single and album and tens of millions of radios all over the world day and night at the same time, and to this very day and moment!!...

holding down the entire holy bottom along with charlie's kick....

melodius propulsion (there's the 'p' word again)...
staggered, and burning and churning it out....
ascending to resolution, charlie right there with him,
goin' hot on the cymbals and fills...

kicked ten million asses in a zillion arenas and tv shows
and clubs and every part of the stonesmania as the other four...
very distinctly his own solid presence...

barney can gripe all he wants about how bill didn't prance around the stage...
he didn't have to...his bass did.

he stood there still (famously) and as solid as charlie's stone face...holding it down, thrusting it forward...u have seen this two my droogies...as we sit around the mad maxian thunderdome 'tell' (me) here...

bill peering eagle eyed into the crowd for the thirty girls he would perhaps bring back to his room after all the seats were wet from the fierce jet engine growl of that band...

... and every bit as original and characterisic as keith or anyone else....in any band. 12 x 5 indeed... 25 x 5... infinity x 5...

me, i love Darryl; ...voo doo lounge was a lovely, inventive and consistent effort i thought, and i was grateful he was there...and for each and every show since the nineties began...but it's ruff justice onya doncha know mr. jones...

i notice that bass players, (& often drummers) either adore Wyman...totally 'get it'...
...or the rest of them bass players who do not...or disagree...
...they are ALWAYS bringing him up anyway, to slam him lol...

as they are ALWAYS talking about Bill effin Wyman...
part of the lexicon...indelible.
as it is, as it should be.
as it forever Will be.
