There WAS at one time a rumour that the Stones were going to play in Hayarkon Park/Tel Aviv this summer. Any news on this, or is it unlikely to happen ? I have noticed that it has been taken off tour itinerary board in IORR, it was there earlier.

Quite recently the Stones said they would not play in Israel on this tour. Also I believe the situation is not as stable as it should be vs. security there right now, so that might be the reason why they can't do it. Plus they are running out of available dates. The summer seems pretty packed, and it is a long way down to Israel. It would take 5 days of trucking time minimum. So they are building up a backlog of places they should play on the next tour:

- India
- Bangkok
- Beijing
- Dubai
- Israel
- South Africa
- +++

It really seems there will be another tour, right? Also Darryl indicates this on his website: "I hope to spend some time here on the next trip." (talking about Little Rock)

Thanks BV, that's the kind of post we LOVE to read ............. the one that speaks of a NEXT tour !!!

Has to be an extension. IMO once this tours OVER over they ain't gonna crank it up again - best to just keep it going...On With the Show...

galia stones, what city are you in ? Tel Aviv ?

To start a new tour, the Stones really need something to promote. I can't envisage another studio album right now, so I guess the best option for them would be to take a few months off after Europe and then hit the road again. Whether this'll happen is anyone’s guess. As far as playing (I can't think of a specific word for them) DIFERENT places goes, it seems they tend to play one on each tour. In '95 it was South Africa, India in '03 and I guess the next of these places will be somewhere like Israel.

Yeah but Big Al...that father time clock is ticking LOUDER....I say they do another USA swing after Europe then some of BV's list (depends where it will be safe enough) then ....work on the BOX SET for 5 years - FINALLY !!!

Since they are playing Shanghai in a few weeks, I cannot imagine a great effort to hit Beijing any time soon. Of course I am often wrong, and BV's ideas have a way of becoming truth...so I guess I say no more!

yes i live in tel aviv... i dont think that stones are gona come to israel becaus in israel dont have many fans of the stones.. and it is very bad!!!!
so i will go to russia to see my band..

You need to spread the word then, educate the people !!! It's a shame, I was looking forward to taking my relatives to a Stones show in Tel Aviv. O well, maybe next time - or another time !
