Just saw tickets for the Pogues NYC shows in March selling for 400 bucks. Positively Stonesiasn. Great band, Shane may be the last of his kind. How he outlived Joe Strummer I'll never know.

would love to be there...been listening to alot of Pogues of late. They opened a Dylan show I went to in Berkeley in '88 - Shane was too drunk to make it to the gig. Gotta love the man....

Anybody ever heard the Mojo Nixon song "Shane Dentist"? It contains the immortal lines "Shane's dentist don't work too hard, always at the pub/Shane says he ain't comin' back 'til they're down to a nub."
