Rose Bowl in 1994, I think had a little over 100,000.

Baden badheim Germany-The Hague holland 98 both more then 100.000.

Altamont and Hyde Park figures need to be taken with a grain of salt. I suspect there were considerably less in attendance.

1) Re; Altamont & Hyde Park. Yes, a grain of salt. Point is, even with a high end estimate, the Rio show will blow those away!

2) I'll have to check Boxscore, etc, regarding the Pasadena shows, etc being over 100,000. I was not aware they were attended by that many.

We call it Bad Bentheim, Schüttorf ;-) Yes, 90.000.

From Jens Backlund site. He uses mostly Boxscore tallies. The Schuttorf & Hauge in Holland noth had less than 100,00 in 1998:

Impressive LA in 82. What I don't understand is why Paris in 95 and not 98 and 03. Why no Wembley multiple shows . But the exercise is difficult.

12x70,000 at Wembley (1982-1999).

About 30.000 were partying outside...count them to!!!In bad germany 95 they broke through the gates..there was more than 100.000 I could not find my bus or roads all I could see was people everywhere!!!

Because the venue in 1996 was Longchamps racecourse, not the Stade de France which wasnt built until 1998.
