I posted this (trying to follow protocol) at the trade board, but I know this board gets more "eyes".
If anyone can post some or all of this, I would be most grateful.

most of the dallas rehearsals are instrumental.....either mick didn't sing much or he was way down in the mix.

still it is great to hear keith and mick taylor mix and weave......

just would have been nice to have had more vocals as well.

WHO IS THAT GUY????? Looks either like Little Walter Jacobs or Lee Dorsey. That is one scary muzzle!

I think it's Fred McDowell.

It's Lee Dorsey.

Thanks Sssoul - and yeah, it's just the 2 Robert Johnson songs. Other than those 2, the 2 on actual albums [Love In Vain & Stop Breaking Down] & Mick singing Come On In My Kitchen in Performance are there any others floating around?

It's also called Exiles Afternoon.

>> are there any [other Robert Johnson covers] floating around? <<

smile: i dreamed a cross between Saint of Me and Sweet Home Chicago last night - does that count? it sounded really good!

and i do believe in miracles and i wanna save my sssoul
and i know that i'm a sinner, gonna die here in the cold
i say yeah - baby don't you want to go
back to the land of California - to my sweet home Chicago

ahem - pardon! i meant to say: Keith does a short acoustic 32-20 on the so-called Honeymoon Tapes.
and there are not-quite-covers: Lookin Tired, for example, and Dust My Pyramids - maybe someone can post that one for us, please and thank you?

"What do you want - what?!"
- Keith

cosmo - I agree that it's Lee Dorsey. But, the similarity to Little Walter Jacobs is astonishing, you have to agree. And, from the history I've read about Walter, it wouldn't be unexpected to see a pic of him brandishing a pistol, either!

It's amazing how many folks have commented on Dorsey's resmblance to Little Walter.
I do see some similarity.
