I guess Prodigal Son should make the setlist.

It's a tad too mellow. GRanted, they'll be 70, but they'll have the energy to throw 2 or 3 rockers in there, though they don't need to be warhorses

No complaint- just a tweak. I think it's great and I'd like to hear it tonight!

Hahahhahahhahahahhaha!!! We can never be too happy. though! Most of us will STILL be shocked if Keith makes it that far anyway....even though he keeps cheating the reaper at every stroke.

What is great about this list is that these are all the tunes I try to play by myself on acoustic in my own imaginary concert set list. All are great tunes....

However, I didn't know about any Stones version of "Moanin' at Midnight" out there.

Hey JJF - that´s way after 80.
Chuck Berry´s 80 now, remember (well, only 79 actually; but in the fall...).

On a more serious note, ten years will go quick. What were you doing in Feb '96??Chances are ,health permitting, that the stones will still be a force as they are now.My father is 72 and his no different to himself at 52.

I'd bet they'll make it and we get to see that. And I hope they play "so young".

what about Rip This joint & Flip the Switch, they should be able to handle that on accoustic guitars in their 70'ies..... Charlie will have to use a drum computer tho.

A french song from the seventies
Some words about the death of mick jagger.

One day these words will become reality. Stones on stage at age 70.
How much will be a ticket at this time. You must save money now until this future time. Mama mia.

Quand j'étais chanteur
(1975)
Paroles & Musique : M. Delpech - J.M. Rivat - R. Vincent

J'ai mon rhumatisme
Qui devient gênant
Ma pauvre Cécile
J'ai soixante-treize ans
Je fais de la chaise longue
Et j'ai une baby-sitter
je traînais moins la jambe
Quand j'étais chanteur

J'avais des boots blanches
Un gros ceinturon
Une chemise ouverte
Sur un médaillon
C'était mon sourire
Mon atout majeur
Je m'éclatais comme une bête
Quand j'étais chanteur

Un soir à Saint-Georges
Je faisais la kermesse
Ma femme attendait
Planquée dans la Mercédès
Elle s'est fait j'té dans l'Indre
Par tout mon fan-club
J'avais une vie dingue
Quand j'étais chanteur

Les gens de la Police
Me reconnaissaient
Les excès de vitesse
Je les payais jamais
Toutes mes histoires
S'arrangeaient sur l'heure
On m'pardonnait tous mes écarts

i still don't know why they haven't pulled out time waits for no one.....the older they get the more it makes perfect sense to do this great song.....

I agree Time Waits for no one would be ever more powerful today as they move toward their "sunsets". I can see Mick doing solo stuff until he's 75 - 80 yrs old on a stool etc. Another Chuck Berry kinda performer if health concerns strike the others prior. Mez
