From the 25th till the 30th! Everything settled, booked the flight - can stay for free at a friends place! (he has an extra bedroom, which is great as I'll come with my girlfriend)

Yes, please. If you could recommend some good affordable hotels near the stadium, it would be of great help.

There are not hotels in the stadium area. The Olimpic Stadium is located at the top of the Montjuic mountain. It could find a lot of good hotels in Barcelona (I recomend the old part of the city - barri gotic, ramblas, av. paralel ), from it is posible to find easy/cheapest public transport to the stadium. I recommend the underground to Plaza España station, and then twenty minutes by walk to the stadium. A nice experience.

If you come to Barcelona (pre/post show) do not miss a walk up and down to the Ramblas and the small streets around that area. From Plaza Catalunya to the port area. Old town. The nightlife is here.And the day life too. Don't forget the swimwear, the beach after midnight..hot wheather in Barcelona on may...

I booked FOB tickets (Front Of Bed) at the ** hotel "Residencia Campus del Mar".

There are no hotels near the venue. It is located on the top of the hill, in the Montjuic park, behind the great fountains and museum. If you like to stay with the fun then stay close to la Rambla - the street that never sleeps. Or in the side streets. You walk half an hour from the Olymoic park and to la Rambla, or you take the underground - cheap and fast.

PS. One time I stayed in the Av. Diagonal area of course a bit cheaper than central Rambla but it's like saving money in the wrong place. Walk into Rambla as you wake up and enjoy that fantastic crowded and fun street! I have been way too busy with the US part of the tour up to now, but I am working on detaløed travel pages for all the European cities and shows, as I know them all quite well.
