Is this just a random cover like Love Train on the 40 Licks Tour, or are the Stones playing tribute to the Temptations or .... ???

Beats me, but I have always loved their version of that song. I sing it to the money in my bank account every time before I buy a Stones ticket: "I know you wanna leave me, but I refuse to let you go." Then I change my mind and let it go, of course.

I actually think it's not nearly in the same league with "Just My Imagination." Kind of flat and dull. Though the concert versions were pretty good.

"Ain`t too proud to beg" - did they really have to do that terrible cover!!!! What a clean waste of time and energy!!!!!! Must they never do that again!!!! One of the worst songs on IORR!!

I always thought that they borrowed "Ain't Too Proud" and stole "Just My Imagination."
Still, a Temptations cover is always a very cool thing--and better on stage than it was on IORR.

Ain't too proud to beg was dead on last night. People went bonkers in the beer lines. I know I did. I broke down and sang it with this chick who was a complete stranger. Great energy this song!
