Everybody, hates this song it seems, I love it!And I rather hear a bad version, then not hearing it at all! My fav ,is the 1978 Anaheim La version,What s yours? I really like this song, and I think, its for real!!!!!It made disco, so much deeper. Was it about Bianca? On the ending part, Mick went wild ,I guess i m lieing to my self, its you ,and no one else!!!!You have been fuc-ing up my dreams! And then the ohhh baby why you wait so long ,part!I love the rap,In this tune, people dance to this song!!Its blues to me!

I don't hate the song. I love the studio version. It is also one of the very few songs that I think was better live in the early years than it is in the later years. The problem with Miss You in the later years is the length, the extended solos, and the bullshit between Mick and Lisa. During the current tour Miss You is scaled back and better. The only change I would make to the current version is more guitar on the main riff and less piano.

If it were cut to 4 or 5 minutes and the keyboard player took a break it would be great.

I never missed it. It is disco, it is boring, the weakest number of "Some Girls". The same goes for the still worse "Emotional Rescue" (the track). The only interesting concerning "Miss You" are the riffs and licks of the different live versions.

I LOVE "MISS YOU". "MISS YOU" got me into The Stones when I fiurst heard it the age of 11. Still love it now.

It was most likely written about Jerry Hall, who was in the process of leaving Bryan Ferry for Mick at the time.

I love the Passaic, NJ version and all of the ones on the Habdsome Girls set and - of course - the original Bob Clearmountain 12" mix which was released in 1978, on the rarities disc with Flashpoint and on the Don't Stop single. Dig it!

I know, and remember Keith in anger about the folks who chucked things at Timberlake.
Toronto 2003 that was.

In miss you,Mick Jagger crafts one of his most memorable tales of romance. This oisnt about sex.Nor is it about a bitter battle of the sexes. His lover has gone away, and he s begging for her return. The song is a rare show of vulnerability and sadness from the singer.Miss you is rich in the imagerey of loneliness and regret........the same day the band recorded Miss you they also came up with a song called....Start me up You have been fuc-ing up my life....Lord.

Miss You is great in the studio, but live the only good part is if you need a bathroom break or a drink. Lets hope its gone soon.

I think Miss You is a fabulous track, that goes for both the studio- and live versions.
It's a must for me on the European shows.
