Tell Me 2031 & 2056: What´s it like...?
Posted by: Baboon Bro ()

Hey hey whazzup here... ?
Does this board have to get stuck just because
some lousy Baboon´s workin & posting lil less...

Ok, then...
Something to get yer speculation going:

What topics will we (they) discuss in this board in 2031,
25 years ahead that is.
Or in 2056?

How will the various periods be judged or evaluated?
The albums? The tours? The songs? Wood/vs. Taylor
(THEN, not NOW , ok?smiling smiley)

Feel free to view into the future....

In 2031 we'll be moaning that theyve played the same 3-song setlist (brown sugar, JJF and HTW) for the last 2 tours (ever since they reduced the setlist from the 4-song one that they had on the 2025 tour when they finally retired Satisfaction because Mick felt he was starting to look ridiculous singing those lyrics at the age of 82)

We'll also be complaining that the ticket distribution and prices have witnessed a new low in unfairness after promoter Michael Cohl III decreed that all the seats at every venue had to be bought in blocks of 12 by businesses who put their names into a ballot for the right to be charged $1 million per block, with public sales being limited to 200 tickets per venue at $2,000 per time, with all the real fans being allocated a spot at the far end of the stadium car park where, if the wind was blowing the right way, they might be able to hear the show through a specially designed tongue-logo ear trumpet which could be bought exclusively through rs.com at $1,000 each. There would be many complaints from fans as in many cases the ear trumpets only arrived 6 months after the end of the tour.

Gazza! Patent your R.S Ear Trumpet idea, quickly- before those
bar-stewards at RS.COM, nick it, and start flogging them to
schmucks on the Euro tour.

B.T.W- $1000, will get you the standard tongue-embossed ear trumpet.
For an extra $500, you can get a deluxe package , featuring:-
a printed-autographed version,
a limited-edition tie-dye tshirt, with an ear trumpet on it, and an ear-trumpet flashing pin.

RS Wine bottles, four whole-bottles, only 9,000; ear trumpet labels

And for bargain-price 4,000$ you´ll get a golf club set with
Blondie Chaplin´s & Lisa Fischer´s autographps pluis
ear trumpets all over the drives, small marks.
For 4,500 you´ll get bigger ear trumpets & for
only 8,000 you´ll get toungues on the golf set
and for 12,000 golf set with toungues AND (wow!) ear trumpets.

Throw in another 1,800 bux & you´ll get yourself a golf drive set
and a dvd, ABB Extra Terrestrial Rarities Edition.
PLUS the NEW album (next after ABB grinning smiley )

For the total amount of only 22,000$ you´re getting:
Golf set
Dvd
Wineset
One wine bottle with a toungue

And this is only in 2031... Just wait till 2056...

I am rather free at work today so let's imagine how the Stones story could carry on in the decades to come.

Biotechs will help to keep this band alive for ever.
Get Mick ,Keith ,Charlie ,Bill and....Brian or.....Mick T or....Ronnie's DNA and clone them!
Then educate them properly:
Singing and songwriting lessons for Mick jr and Keith jr
Guitar lessons for keith jr and whoever you've picked here above.
Drumming lessons for Charlie jr.
Bass lessons for Bill Jr
It's obvious that during all these years of training they'll have to copy the style of the original RS and to learn all the songs in the catalogue.Ample time to do so!
For new albums no worries.Either they are able to write songs by themselves or just dig into the original RS 's vault (contains more songs than what has officially been released).

It's optional but with multiple clones we could have one full band per continent.

So dear Baboon by 2036,2051 and even 2158! the ever young RS will still perform and the show will go on for ever.
One question ,should we also clone the fans so they will keep for ever moaning about setlists?
