1st PRESSING STREET FIGHTING MAN

If you have a first pressing of Street Fighting Man 1969 on Decca blue label could you be so kind to let me know if the record has an index number sitting above the catalogue number upside down.Because i cant find one, many thaks.

Wasn't it released in 1968? The first pressing with the great sleeve is fairly rare. I wouldn't mind having one too!

cheers ChrisM, I was wondering if my copy was original but am not sure.After 30 years collecting I have never seen one or with the sleeve.So i presume it is super rare.Thanks anyway.

1968 Decca F 22825 SFM/No expectation, with picture sleve is very rare.

US Release, summer 68, but this wasnt released in the UK until 1971. three variations, of it...

1.Ep F 13195, No upside down printing. Side 1, Street Fighting Man, Surprise, Surprise. Side 2. Everybody Needs Somebody to Love

2.7" Juke Box, F 13205,no upside down printing Side 1 SFM Side 2 Surprise Surprise

3. 7" Uk Export Decca F 22825 (earlier release), with many different Sleeves HAS upside down printing, Side 1. Street Fighting Man Side 2 No Expectations

Decca F 13204 released 71, has Everybody needs somebody to love as b side.
Priced about £ 30 with Picture sleeve.

Thank you everyone for your expert help. I can see now that I have the juke box edition.Also I have seen several copies of SFM as a maxi single.
Just in case nobody knows there should be a Stones convention at the
Bonnington Hotel in London sometime this summer.Keep an eye on Record Collector
for details.

The maxi singel version was recorded August 1990 with som of the backing musicans from the Urban Jungel Tour. "Get them dogs out there" commanded by Mick before it starts, in the end of we hear som dog noise as well.
