The Bergen show will start 7:30pm with the warmup band and 9pm with the Stones. On June 6 next summer the sunset in Bergen is at 22:58 i.e. 11pm which means the entire show will be in full daylight and sunshine. It's just two weeks before midsummer. It will not be dark at all in fact. So forget about the visual show and light effects - this will be pure music and rock'n'roll!
This link will give you a history of Bergen weather for the last several years... just enter what day you want at the top, or you can pick weeks or months.
Thanks, RedLight. Thats what I call a reasonable link. As we can see it´s cold as hell in bergen in early June. Its like in my town by the Bthnic Sea; the Northern seas have a very slow warm-up, and June is not a complete summer month here, but a spring month... Not before Midsummer the temperature in the air is settled. Wanna bath? Go to a indoors swimming pool!
Anyway, you will meet omne of the most beautiful sceneries thet Mother Nature can offer, maybe THE most beautiful (unless that´s not some half days travels Northwards from Bergen)...
The blooming is far gone and actually its like the Alps in that sense there are three seasons at the same time; winter up in the mountains, spring in the higher parts off the valleys and full summer aoround Bergen town and mid valleys.
I don't mind wearing a jacket during the show, but it would be nice if it doesn't rain. Back in 2002 the weather was warm, so maybe we'll have good luck next year.
