My live choice Mick Taylor on any Gimme Shelter from 1972/1973.

Everytime I listen to taylor's fluidity and hammers and pull offs on gimme shelter it puts chills down my spine. He was @#$%& awesome(Still is) and the halls of the rock and roll hall of fame should have his torching piercing solos ringing out loud for all to have a listen and say now WHO IS THAT GUY PLAYING AND where can I find out more about him and his legacy.

That version is awesome. However I do love the "modern" Lisa Fischer version. The Brussel's Afair Street Fighting Man solo knocks my socks off. It seems to be a little off key and off rythym but it still works beautifully with Keith, charlie and Bill's driving rhthym behind it. I think that is what really gives that solo it's power. (and of course Mick's awesome ability).

Go Dawgs!
