Hi

You seemed to have had spectacularly good fortune with getting brilliant Stones UK tickets for this tour thus far!!!! I would be interested to know how you selected those Block A5 Row 1 presale tickets for the the 2nd Wembley gig, did you, e.g.

1. Select "Floor Seating" (Pitch) and £60.00 price.
2. Select "Floor Seating" (Pitch) and £150.00 price.
3. Select "Floor Seating" (Pitch) and Any Price.

4. Select "Best Available" and £60.00 price.
5. Select "Best Available" and £150.00 price.
6. Select "Best Available" and Any Price.

Cheers
SD

and if you don't mind clarifying which sale you got them in, that would be great to know too - thanks Paulywaul.

Not answering for Paulywaul here obviously, but I got A2 Row 1 today at Wembley. I used Amex card and selected £60 ticket and best available option in the reserved pitch seating section. I think Paulywaul was using an Amex card if I remember an earlier post of his.

Hope this helps...

I'm sure you've already done this, but just in case not, also test to see if you get offered something better if you opt for buying a new membership instead of using AMEX, still putting in £60 + pitch.

already tried that, Beast! have some popcorn, though - and keep wishing us luck.

At the moment you get nothing, not even a single one (I need two).

Hi, better late than never - Sunday lunch n' all that.

Yes, I was indeed using an AMEX card, and when I looked for tickets I did indeed select reserved pitch and the £60 price category. I did this because of what I'd read about the pricing structure on the N American shows; namely there being cheaper seats in some of the front rows. What I have learned this time around is that on SOME occasions Ticketmaster do appear to be releasing A blocks (whether some or all I'm not quite sure) immediately, that is to say at the very moment the presale/sale starts, but on other occasions - they most certainly do not. What did confuse the hell out of me was the fact that from 10:00 in the morning till nearly 4:00 in the afternoon when I was trying for Cardiff, I couldn't even get ANYTHING in ANY A block whatsoever to come up. That made me think that they hadn't in fact "been and gone", they simply hadn't even been released. I was just on the point of giving up and calling it quits, when I did a final search and up came A2 row 3. I couldn't believe my luck.

Hi, hope I've replied to this adequately in the post above, it was reserved pitch and £60 that I selected.

thanks Paulywaul, and i hope it was a good lunch.
i think one difference between the Cardiff sale and what's going on today is that the Cardiff sale was originally scheduled to *end* at 17:00 on the same day -
wasn't it?? - and that's when they suddenly released those beautiful A-section seats.
they later extended those presales, of course, but this one today is *already* scheduled to go on for days, which makes hard to guess when a miracle might happen.

Hi, got my Wembley 2nd show tix this morning Sunday 4th (the day of the presales). How'd you get on yourself, later today ? I wouldn't be surprised to hear that not ALL the A blocks were released simultaneously at take-off time 10:00 this morning, so hopefully you fared OK later on ?

ahem: that is part of the nature of miracles, of course.
just trying to keep things in perspective. :E

>> hopefully you fared OK later on? <<

pained smile: still gettin those same section Cs, Paulywaul - but if there's one thing i've learned from the Rolling Stones, it's tenacity. :E

Well, it's 17:15 hrs Sunday 4th, and if you've been diligently sat there since 10:00 this morning then IMHO you truly DESERVE those A block first row tickets. That level of tenacity is to be rewarded. Best of luck.

you are very sweet, Paulywaul - does that mean you're giving me yours? :E
... okay okay, just thought i'd ask! :E
i'll keep working on it.

and yeah Rknuth - it is indeed a little weary-making!
have some more popcorn.
