I was in Barcelona in 1998 and it was the old fashioned way : 1st rows for the first arrived.
Was it the same in 2003 or was there a special reserved area?

I was at the show. There was the FOS section, though no special FOS tickets were sold for the event. The people with standing tickets who got there first came in and when FOS section was full they just "closed the barrier". Same happened in second Rotterdam de Kuip show

2) Does the spanish ticket company (I have forgotten their name) ship to Germany?

If the company is tiktakticket, i'm afraid they don't ship tickets outside Spain. YoOu have to pick up the tix at the venue box office two hours before the show (not good for a GA concert) or you can do it the days before at differents places
