Tumbling Dice - Rarities

This song is not from one single take right the slow intro is from a stripped outtake and then the live version was spliced from the voodo lounge tour is that
correct.

It is from the Wild Horses 1996 single.

Are you sure it sounds like the live version was spliced with the intro.

On the single, the song begins with a rehearsal version with just Mick, Chuck and Bernard. Then it goes straight into the Olympia 95 live version. So it is the same.

There is an early version
with different lyrics, sometimes called
Good Time Woman I believe, that would've
made a much more interesting alt!

Macca said they'd never release the Beatle
studio alts etc., but of course they finally
did with the Anthology series. Mick says no
now, but I wonder if he'll eventually
break down........................?

Dylan tours, with his offical bootleg series
out there and with a new album every few years?
Why can't the Stones?????????????????????

I think the Stones will open up the archives from next year on. I mean, it's not like they're going to make another album and drag their asses around the world again is it?

We never know, perhaps they'll need more money, so they will drag their asses to the moon or elsewhere, if it helps.

Maybe this album is just something like a ballon - a market tester. Maybe if it flies high, there will be more stuff. DidnĀ“t Dylan start the whole bootleg thing with something similar first? And the Beatles? I think the Live at the BBC 2CD was something like a tester for the whole Anthology project.

I think it is more of a Starbuck's product than a Stones product.
