Wembley pricing: curiouser & curiouser!

i was just on the phone with a supervisor type at Ticketmaster UK, and he said this odd thing:
he believes all of the A sections at Wembley are priced at 60 GBP, and the B and C blocks are all 150 -
and he says he thinks that's the case because "a lot of the gig will be played on the B stage".
i doubt they'd change things that radically for Europe - but hey, it's the Stones, so who knows??
so i wanted to ask whether the first part of the TM cat's statement is right - *are* all the tickets in the A sections priced at 60 GBP??
in other words: has anyone here bought A-section tickets for 150?

that's what i told him. :E
but *are* all the section A seats 60 GBP?? at the North American shows it was only a few seats in the front that were around 99 USD, not entire sections ...

I didnt get to find out, myself thanks to the wonderful and wacky world of rs.com!!

I'd be surprised if they are, to be honest.

don't trust anything a Ticketmaster UK "Supervisor-type", says.
THey're, in my experience, achne-ridden plebs, who couldn't get a job at McDonalds, flipping burgers.

Have a look at the pricing chart for Soldier Field.
[iorr.org]
I would imagine Wembley will have something similar, though the actual prices are different.

thanks folks! but what i'm curious about is not the general principles, but specifically about Wembley:
i know there are section A seats there for 60 GBP; and i know there are B and C seats for 150 GBP;
what i'm curious about is if anyone here got (or saw) section A seats for 150 GBP.

I got A5 row 1 at 60 when trying with Amex.
When I gave that one up because of no UK address, I tried
once more and got A4 row 11 or 12 for 150.
So I guess it's the same as in the US with first few rows are "cheap", then max
for the rest of the field.

was this today, TE?

Just curious as to how many would be available to those who took out memberships after 10/5/05

thanks TE - that's what i suspected.
i guess you're talking about the pre-may-9th presale? that's when they "forgot" to offer options for international customers ...
i ran into that too: my TM-sponsored nervous breakdown. :E

It was yesterday morning during the "Pre-May-9 sale day".
Used my Pre-code already but was curious about the seating map.
Noticed the Amex option and tried it.

Think this will look a lot like the US when they go on sale to the public. Not much left on the field.

If you look at what's available now: "Mid tier" for 150, + of course the 65 GBP membership... Get a cheap flight over to Germany or something instead and grab some Front of Stage GA tickets.
