"Looking Tired" mp3

Spontaneously, my soundtrack to some of the todays law and copyright discussion...

A most underrated tune from the "Aftermath" Sessions: [s23.yousendit.com]

By the way, all the people knowing it should check out this recording as well, cause it's never been available in this quality standard as I'm informed!

Enjoy!!!

Always liked this one (what about an analogy to the Beatles' "I'm so tired"? hehe)

Yes, it's really sounding absolutely fantastic! Where did you take that one from?

If I remember exactly, it's taken from the original tape the TMOQ guys took from acetate and has been professionaly studio remastered later (1997/98 I think).

musically, of course, it's a totally rip off of RJohnson's 32-20 Blues

true, and the lyrics include a mighty clear reference to it as well.
i've always liked this one, and it sure does sound good in this version.

It is clean , isn't it. Anyone else notice there only appears to be one guitar on this.

Of course good 'ol RJ wasn't above borrowing songs himself. Here's the original version of 32-20, quite a bit slower & doesn't have that 'floater' verse of 'Hey babe where did you sleep last night...' which can be found on a fair few blues from this period.

22-20 Blues by Skip James, 1931.
