I think this is the tune that Jagger tells this story: during the Voodoo sessions, it happened that it was mentioned they needed a quick B-side. He retired into the corner and wrote it in literally 10 minutes.

.....there are many nice songs on Voodoo Sessions...someone better than the official songs!!

Better than Back of My Hand IMO. Don't know why it wasn't included on VL. Don't know why it is not included on Rarities. Ditto I'm Gonna Drive and Jump on Top of Me.

The Stones need a Quality Control person. A taste-tester.

Shows off the Stones' ever-deepening feel for the blues. After being disappointed with "Voodoo," I was astonished that they had failed to use "The Storm" (or "Jump On Top Of Me" for that matter) for the album.

Strange also that they declined to add it to "Rarities." Probably an either/or with "Fancyman." Silly.
