Interesting we both have bottom 4 tunes & middle tier. Big difference is I love good times Bad times. Always thought this would be great in a club. But I bet most would have the same bottom four. Not all but most. MEZ

Good Times Bad Times Last??????? I have it as first Wow.!" You can't please some of the people all of the time but can please all of them some of the time." Wait I think I recited that proverb correctly. Crap maybe thats not a proverb at all. Perhaps its a allegory. Never mind I 'm completely confusing myself!!!!!!!

But come on people back me up here Good Times Bad Times is great tune. Certaintly not worst on 12x5. Although I do respect his opinion. We can agree to disagree. Wait here I go again. Let me stop this double talk. MEZ

I find the 12x5 cd the worst collection of the early works of the stones. It's not bad at all, but it pales if compared to no.1, Now and heads.

Good Times, Grown, Confessin, A&A are on top of my list. The way Jagger sings the blues on Good Times is how he always should. I'm not too fond of the high register of Gotta Move or Back of my hand for example.

All the others are good except under the boardwalk which is one of the worst things on a stones record.

The things you say about 12x5 I agree with totally. That could have been my post. My only probl;em with "Good Times etc" is the 12 String. IMO a 12 String has nothing to do in a Blues tune.

In fact the first time I heard it it sounded somehow "strange". Then I got used to it and now I like the over all sound of the song. A part from the guitar, you can see that Keith was quite into acoustic blues at the time!
