Album - EOMS

Tour - of first 20 years - 1969, of last 20 years, personally, Steel Wheels (incredible show at Shea Stadium)- but I think the Licks tour's variety makes it hard to beat.

"Exile" is certainly the "Stonsiest" album and an incrdible ride, but cut-for-cut, either "Beggar's" or "Let It Bleed" is pretty tough to touch. "Some Girls" is right there as well.

I'll give "Beggar's" the slight edge--today.

As for tours, my copy of "Handsome Girls" suggests to me that, erratic as it may have been, '78 might have been the actual high point.

Tight little band, great covers and older tunes, and the Stones riding high on a boatload of great new material. Hot'n'raunchy.

"Let It Rock" as an opener? They ought to bring it back into the show to promote "Rarities."

Official best Album: "Exile on Mainstreet" or "A Bigger Bang".

Best tour: '69 US or "Voodoo Lounge"

Best boot: I don't know, there are too much very good boots, live and studio, but I suggest that "Voodoo Stew" and Voodoo Brew" are the best studio boots and "Better than the Real Rebirth" from '89 is one of the best live boots for all time.
