Looking at the Bigger Bang World Tour Limited Edition Japanese box set containing the eight 70s CDS in paper sleeves - does anybody know if these have been remastered?

I have been told that usually japanese editions and remastered cd have better sound than american and european ones.
Is this true with Stones records as well???
