He went straight to number 3 in Sweden this week. His best charting since Flowers In The Dirt.

He debuted at # 6 in Billboard 10/01, which is considerably less than ABB's first week but surpasses his last 2001 debut # 26. Also beats Clapton (# 13 - 17 - 39) but not Paul Wall (# 1 - never heard of him til this week - god I am old), Switchfoot, Trisha Yearwood, or the Pussycat Dolls (what a name). I don't know what the RS did for the football show monday, but a week w/ no gigs doesn't make me feel encouraged for third week sales. However (sigh) they'll be touring into next March, and even the usually cynical Village Voice gave MSG/ABB a good review, so ABB may hang in there & go platinum - more radio exposure would certainly help, ditto a TV broadcast - even an MTV 10-spot type program would be welcome.
