On Shidoobee is a post with an explanation how to download those amazing videos, but unfortunately my f...ing notebook with it's own bit philosophy refuses to join the game. Anybody able to put them down and make available?

all right I found it
indeed it works
you need to download a small program called NT2Setup_multi.exe
once it's downloaded, click on the file to install the program, there is no setup to do.
then, go to [www.mtv.com]
then, click on rough justice ..once the window is opening (there are some commercials), copy the following address in "New" of the program NetTransport which must be opened :
"[www.mtv.com];

(you can find this address in your "temporary internet files" folder of your hard drive)
the name of the file begins with &hasVideoIntro=....
you're on, the file is being downloaded in your main hard drive.

to find more easily the file, close your internet connection and go to the setup pannel and try to delete all temporary internet files.
then, just do the same with Waiting on a friend, connect to [www.mtv.com]
once the file has started, go into your temporary internet files folder and find a file which is like "[www.mtv.com];
but of course it's a different number than 1784715

Finally, I did find the file, copied it in NetTransport and download it, but...there's no video but a small html-document only....what's wrong????

you must copy the file in NetTransport while you're watching the video clip
do these two things at the same time.
you should find a file in your hard drive (c named "rollingstones_bonus_416.wmv" for rough justice

After all I've managed to download the files, but my WindowsMediaPlayer gives an error concerning unknown codecs. After re downloading, I've seen something different - definitely no Stones.

Can you help please? Are you planning to make the vids avaliable on RP?

yes indeed they made it impossible to download the file.
G the Cock, what is your version of Windows ? it would be better to have the latest version, windows 10.00

I've got Windows XP SP1 (cause my notebook isn't compatible with SP2) with Media Player 9 upgraded.

My Notebook is 3 years old, I'd wanted to wait for a new one until next year, when Windows Vista and 64bit-technology will be available.

Anyway, thanks for the info!!! Is it possible for you to make the videos available...?

I don't have any Mac...so which program do you use to read wmv files ?
