Mick Jagger imitation

Hi,

do you have in your country some people trying to imitate Mick ?

yesterday evening, in a French program there was a new guy in the trade..
he was singing Start Me Up and it was so ridiculous that it would have been smart to stop the program and display a message saying : "sorry but we had to interrupt our program for technical reasons"

It's ALWAYS pathetic to watch someone completely embarrass themsleves, just make an utter fool of themselvs. I will never undertsand why someone will totally forsake their own identity in favor of someone else's. I am the biggest Jaggerfan in the world, but not for one second would I want to BE Jagger. I am me.
One of my alltime favorite quotes by Jagger was about the black and white thing. They asked him if he wanted to be black. And he said "Hell no, I am proud to be white..etc you gotta be yourself. Why would I wanmt to be something other than myself?"

Go to this site and download the video clips:

www.rocksoff.nu

Swedish band Rocks off is considered one of the best Stones tribute bands in the world. The singer, Tony has a voice that is very much like Jaggers. Besides that, the band really rocks and that is the most important of course. I´ve seen them live two times and it was great!

I don´t find imitations pathetic. On the contrary. I love it!

Ok, I know that there are some people that try to look like stars and even have surgery to look like Wacko Jacko or whoever. Rocksoff does not fall into that category, it´s basicall a very good rockband that plays the best rock songs ever written. But never the less, I can find the silly imitations quite amusing too. I once saw an Prince imitation and it was hilarious.

Sweden has the lead singer from The Hives. He's 110% Jagger wannabe.
