Is he worth watching on his solo tour this autumn?

Or should I save the ticket money for the bigger bang tour?

Where would you see him?

I would say save your money; it's nothing more than the knowledge that he was a Stone once.
Unless you like boring bluescovers which could be played far better by a lot of other bands...

[www.mp3.com] Audio samples,

just got them from my uncle in Noway - a real Stones freak.

Not saying Shedooby´s not right or has some points, ol´ BIll this time announces
he will take some time answering fans questions and so on.

...To be fair I´d say check out
his Rhythm Kings´ site to track down some new stuff too;
the early soloalbums above wont be too representative.

depends on your musical taste - he's miles away from what the Stones do these days. If you've heard any of his Rhythm Kings albums, you should be pretty well prepared....I happen to think his band is KILLER and puts on one helluva show.

I'm going to see him for the first time in few weeks. I don't know a lot about it, but I've loaned a CD and it sounds good. It has Mick Taylor(but he's ofcourse not with them anymore).

Taylor was never "with" Wyman's band, per se. Played on a couple tracks in the studio.

i saw him a few years back sat about three rows from the stage and thought he was great. The band he had put together, which had a few people not on his albums was great. However, if you just want to hear him sing, dont go. He doesnt. Despite singing on some of the songs in studio, he doesnt on stage. People kept asking him to sing and he finally said, "I dont sing in this band...I didnt sing in that other band either." That got a nice laugh.

they dont seem to tour the states very often, where are they playing now?

Well, last year he sang a song live, and it was Berry's 'Never Can Tell'. He is not a good singer, but it was fun to see him singin' onstage.

Not the most exciting of the set lists (same r'n'b stuff they play in most pubs in the world) BUT a truly great band and, well, bill is always bill

His band is great and it's an entertaining show, for sure....unfortunately, he's only done one tour of the United States (when I was lucky enough to catch him).
