On Stage

I just got back from the show, I had the on-stage tickets tonight. OMG, it was awesome, seriously awesome! I don't think I'll ever recover. It was the difference between hearing the music and feeling the music, which is everything IMHO. It was definitely worth the money, for those of you who are wondering. Also, I went on Sunday night, I had great seats, (section A5 - $450 ish) roughly 13th row from the stage, and this was 100X better. I think this was an even better experience than front row.

I can't wipe the freakin smile off my face, it was THAT GOOD!!!!

Cindy,

You rule!
Please, more details. When did you get there? Drinks? Support Act? Band Interaction?

I scored On Stage for Detroit and am now feeling even better about them.
Thanks.

I'll also try to go for on stage seats when they play in France.
Thanks for sharing the experience.

I was there I really enjoyed it alot better than I thought, No one in
front of me or in back of me. It averaged 6 people per box you could also move aroud and check out the other boxes everyone very friendly. Great perspective looking out at the Audience. I loved it. If you have tickets keep em. well worth the $250.00.

best part: open bar all night, thats right FREE.

I sent in a review ( By Ed Quinn) with all the details it has not been posted yet.

Well, if that stupid girl Sunday night taught us anything, alcohol + high altitudes = bad thing. LOL

I was in the right field grandstand last night, you folks looked like you were having a good time up there. How was the sound from those seats?

Since I quit drinking 18 years ago I settled for the free soda and water.

Sunday I was in left field Boxseats and sounded the same to me. The difference was you could fell the beat under your feet and vibrating through the rails. I loved it.

Hi everyone.

I was really surprised to get so many posts, I'm glad I did, I was afraid of people bashing me (i'm kinda new to IORR, but noticed that happens a bit)

I see that you guys want more details, which I am more than happy to give, but unfortunately I'm at work, so I'll write more tonight. I have a couple cool pictures from the show. Is there a way to post them somewhere on this site? I think I tried yesterday, but it didn't seem to work.

Have a good day!

Work is highly overated.
Paychecks are only good for two things: Kids and Stones expenses.

....if you include booze as "stones expenses" I agree...if not, they are good for 3 things....

Thanks for the report about the onstage tickets. My buddy and I have them for the Moncton concert on September 3. They expect about 85,000 fans so it should be a great experience. I'll give you a report after the show. Headed to Ottawa as well this weekend (seats close to the stage) and it will be interesting to compare the two shows.

I have On Stage tickets at Duke and want ALL the details please.

Sound Quality?

Sight Lines? What could you see, could not see like video screen, fireworks, etc.?

They are covered in case in is pouring rain?

Does it feel stable, much vibration?

Which is better, upper or lower level, inside box or outside box?

Hey Ed/Virgil:

Nice write up - question - you thought the sound was good, apparently. That's good - but what were you listening to? Stage monitors? PA? Was something piped into the boxes themselves? Thanks....

Cindy, tell us what the procedure was like to get backstage! Did you have to wear a wristband? Were you escorted directly from the Will Call window to the Stage Box? How early were you able to pick up your tickets?

I need details, girl. Please post.

- Well. Get yourself a pic host. Mine is Photobucket;
I highly recommend that one
(many stupid ad´s follows it, but you´re used to that
oversaes, arent you?)... Adress [photobucket.com].

Of course you have to register & log in & all that crap.

Then just submit pics from your computer; you can even
submit multiple pics up to 15 or slt. at the same time.

...After that saving, browsing, submitting; you just right-click
and mark "Img" (=Image), copy it, and paste at wished place in your post here.
May sound complicated - but it´s a piece of cake for a modern computer user.

HEY T&A

From what I could tell it was only the Stage speaker system it self it was quite loud. Those big speakers you see hanging on both sides of the stage, You could reach out and touch them. The only real obivious difference to me from being in left fied on sunday was that I was right above the horn section and they had little amps at their feet. I am sure it is so they can hear themselves play so I got and extra blast of horns and I love the horns. I hope this helps.

Thanks

On the first show night Sunday in Boston I thought the On Stage position to see the show was not that good. But then I had a 2nd look at them on Tuesday, and they really look just like the balconies of Royal Albert Hall, except they are a bit larger, and a bit more to the sides of course. But those 250 or so fans who are lucky to be up there may have a great view and a great experience. So if you can get hold of such a ticket, at least one time, then try it out. It seems like they have great fun up there!

Ed Quinn:

"Final Surprise: everybody got to meet the band and pictures YEEEES. How do your front row seats look now? "

More info please, particularly on the pictures. Their camera? They allow you in with a camera? One group shot? What's the deal?

Can you post your pic as a sample of what we can expect?

I have bought on stage tickets from a friend of mine that will be picking them up at will call. He is going to pass them off to me and another firend that are going to attend the show. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to pass off the tickets or wristbands? Will we have any problems?

The person that bought the tickets got an e-mail from TM and said that the tickets are non transferable and you and your guest will be escorted in after you pick up the tickets from TM.
