"Y.C.A.G.W.Y.W." choir LIVE!

Isn't it about time they get a choir together for one night to do the intro of this great song?

The choir really makes the song.

Never been done live!

I think that would be the best!!!!!

"Well my heavy throbbers itchin' just to lay a solid rhythm down"

I've always thought that would be an amazing opener or final encore. There's no reason they couldn't hire a decent local choir. U2 did it on "Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" in Rattle and Hum, right?

What U2 did was a little different. They went into a Church in Harlem and recorded it.

why can't a choir be on a concert stage though? They may never do it, but why not??? I love the choir intro to that song and think it'd be an awesome treat.

Oingo Boingo had something like a choir for the opening song "Insanity" at their last shows...those were GREAT shows.

It's a great idea and I hope it gets back to Mick. He might even buy it!

That is the BEST reason I can think of for NOT doing it!
IMO that was a lame moment for U2 (whom I generally like!)

theres enough bloody side-people on that stage, already!!

Only reason why U2 did it was because they were using it as a part of a film...its not like it was a regular occurrence

I'm surprised at the division on this one! The fans on stage thing is gimmicky, this would be an appropriate nod to one of the greatest moments in recorded history!

But I agree...it'll never happen.

Yeah, but they could use the recording as the intro, then Keith launch in... I'd forgive them for that slight compromise, for the effect it would have.

Think of all the songs that would be great with a choir:

Saint of Me
All Down the Line
let it loose
tumbling dice
etc

The 'canned' choir idea is awful, it would be awsome if they used a real choir though. Maybe when we die and go to rock 'n' roll heaven we'll get that version there.

I ain't stupid, I'm just guitarded.
