What a good song! Am I right in saying that is certainly keith playing the solo and Gimmie Shelter style licks?

I am in awe of this band.

Yeah, me too. I really like this tune. Did you happen to read Gazza's review? He of course didn't pan this track, but I would have thought he'd of praised it a bit more, but I'm sure this will be a tune we'll all enjoy from the new album.

It's an excellent one,I love it much more than Rough Justice and Keith's licks are fantastic. This song made me really excited about upcoming album.I gotta admit that I was a bit sceptical about it.

Yep I read gazza's review. I think Dangerous Beauty may be my favorite, but will have to wait to hear the whole song. No duds on this album. Still amazed SOL was released first. The weakest song I have heard.

I was posting in another thread re. this tune. It reminds me more of "Mother of a Man" than GS.

"a stunning driving rocker", "an excellent kiss off", "delicious lead guitar work", "special"

yeah, I guess I could have praised it a BIT more! LOL

After several listens on RS this song kicks a** - easily one of the hardest hitting/overall substantial song I have heard in quite sometime. I mean I am now a big fan of Disturbed/Metallica and the likes and this song freakin rocks out! This may very well be the sleeper hit. I think Active Rock will jump on this.

If It Won't Take Long was released in the early seventies it would have been an instant classic IMO. Everything the Stones ever represented is in this song. It rocks like i haven't heard the Stones rock in the studio for a long time. Fantastic tune!

As I've already said, It's @#$%&' great! As Keith would say, this song cooks!! It just makes you jump instantly off your chair! And I like the lyrics also!

"got to be worked on
don't have no bark nor bite..."

IWTL should rather been a single than SOL, which I still don't like too much....

Gazza wrote that Mick sings backup vox on TPIE - but I believe it's KR doing his own backups. Don't like the b/u vox on this, btw....

Just some memories in an old shoebox...

Bill Wyman radio interview from mid Eighties.

DJ:
And Bill what is your most treasured piece of Rolling Stones memorabilia?

BW:
" Well..I 'ave a pair of Keef's dirty white sox from 1963...and I keep 'em in ah box on their own."

It's Ron Wood playing the solo, not Keith. I actually quite like this song, just as I like This Place Is Empty. Rain Fall Down is horrible unfortunately.

He is doing a pretty good keith impression then. It could be overdubbed? I am sure it is keith.

I agree about Rain Fall Down. l

Wood for sure. It's too technical for Keith and features typical Wood bends.

This is an awesome song & is worth the price of the album on its own - ALL HAIL THE ROLLING STONES - THE GREATEST KICK ASS ACT IN THE HISTORY OF THE PLANET.

Ron Wood kick`s ass with the solo, this whole album remind me of a mature version of BtB.

yeah, it is freakin ~*FINE!*~
what a great sweeping landscape those guitars are rampaging through -
and that end vocal mixed down where it belongs -
my my my but that does my heart good! :E

thanks & praises, Rolling Stones!

Speaking of BtB, this song reminds me of Low Down.
Hmmmmm i`m started to compare it with another stones song, haha LOL

yeah, it has the same G/A turn-around as low down. This is G, A, B, while Lowdown is G/A/D.

Btw, after listening to Rain Fall Down on my studio monitors instead of the laptop speakers: this song actually is one of the better songs! See my review.

Looking more like a Keith riff all the time
