Among all this very welcome Stones-insanity I have a thread that no one will probably give the time of day to. But you SHOULD!
There is this act from Neptune; a dragqueen of sorts. Just INCREDIBLE music!!!
"I Am A Bird Now". My brother gives me this disc a while back and I just had it sitting around; never opended it. What a fool I was.

Hey CD,

I heard one song off of this disc, and it was excellent. Antony sang backup with Lou Reed on his last 2-3 tours. On a Lou board I follow, they have given this disc high praises. Got an excellent review on Pitchfork as well. Have to check it out, thanks for the reminder!

Amazing voice but I was slightly disappointed as the reviews I read were raving about him as another Jeff Buckley & it's not in that league. Maybe I need to play it some more.

The Buckley comparison is fair IMO. When I heard the album his name popped into my head too.
