How to publish a picture on the IORR forum pages
Right-click on the photo on a website.
Choose "copy image location" (netscape).
Or "Properties (Explorer) and copy the picture address.
Typically picture address:
[iorr.org]
Then use the following codes to tell it's a picture:

Example:


PS. Remember no spaces (no blanks) between the markers, just the picture address.

I thought that Bjornulf said that he did not want pictures to be displayed on the board because it takes too much space.

He was only talking about the pics in the signatures, I think - those shouldn't be too big.

Correct. Pictures on signatures, following every single post you make is really a wste of bandwidth, unless it is smaller than what you post. But pictures in a post may often be informative. Common sense helps a lot of course.
