not the longest in terms of time played (145 minutes) but the most songs at any Stones show.

It was also the ONLY time they ever played 'Country Honk, although of course its only a few bars of it.

I think the Philadelphia show on the opening night of the Steel Wheels tour may be the longest...even with the power failure!

Lemme tell ya a l'il secret about Knebworth... get some Valium or Xanax online, a good bottle of whiskey, Schweppes Club Soda... put the show on a system that has a really clear screen and excellent speakers.... same w/Paris '76. It's brilliant if your judgement is suspended and the pleasure centre in your brain is stimulated and relaxed...

Knebworth was magic and will always be. As it was for the Stones so it was for Led Zeppelin. It was the first time that the Stones in Europe played a longer set than only 98 minutes in a concert. And it introduced the length of a show for the coming stadium tours in 81 and so forth. The length of the shows came to a maximum during Steel Wheels and Voodoo Lounge and slowly came down to the 2 hours again. in BTB and of course Licks Tour. However I do not speak of quality here.
