There's a cd from this. The Devil's Music or something like that. I have it, but this accompanied the magazine a year or two ago.

It said something like it's Keiths personal compilation, but has he compiled it himself?
All terrific songs ofcourse.

I think you'll find that many of those songs are public domain. That may have something to do with the choices. I'm not saying that they are not some of Keith's favourites, but he may of been told to select only a few which the magazine would have to pay for.

My thought too - doesnt feel authentic at all - more like something Keith would do in his mission for the blues.

I always thought "Dancing Queen" by Abba was his fav?

Does anybody remember the Stones' 'compiled' "Artists' Choice" cd issued in 2003, w/ favorites by all 4 Stones? It's an interesting selection w/ comments in the booklet by each Stone about his choice(s)...I'm sure there was a larger list whittled down (to 20 trax) for licensing purposes...
