The guy that reviewed YCAGWYW page 36(says taylor played on the song)

richards acoustic guitar is played in open E tuning with capo at 8th fret that
starts at 0:50 after the songs extended choral INTRO.

As the second verse gets under way the full band joins in,Mick Taylor adds a
complementary electric guitar performed without a capo in standard tuning.

Taylor only played on live versions how can a magazine like that make such
an error.Taylor only played on Live with Me and Country Honk on LIB.

I guess you can't believe eveything you read now can you.

your excited this morning or whatever just commenting on something that was
written in a established MAGAZINE. He sure made them sound better WHILE HE WAS
IN THE BAND.

Its amazing we go back and forth on who plays on what song and I thought it
was funny that the reviewer can make such an error or oversight.

isnt open E tuning with capo at 8th fret not the same
as G tuning on 5th? just listen

No, it's both in the key of C, but the tunings are completely different in sound and how to play chords.

I play it in the same way. Capo 5th, open G. Like keith.

it sounds okay if you do not want to use open g . sometimes i play in
standard capo at 5th fret also
