I understand U2 did Wild Horses in London - anybody out there see that show? how was it? Will the Stones do a U2 song?

Isn't there also a U2 song called "(Who's gonna ride your) Wild Horses" - I guess they did this one. Don't know for sure, though.
Btw, I absolutely can't see the Stones do a U2 song, that'd be horrible. Imagine them starting their show with "Elevation" grinning smiley

I was at the show, it was great, but it was a really hot night (too hot really for standing surrounded by thousands of sweaty bodies (unless they're all women LOL) and they ran out of lager and guinness at one of the bars so it was bitter for me!

I was on the pitch standing and agree that the sound wasn't great. The second half of the show when it was darker, there were some great lighting/video effects.

Great show, but the stones have nothing to worry about.

If I remember well, U2 did a cover of Paint it Black, together with John Fogerty's Fortunate One, as a flip side to Whose Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses".

On their site (u2.com) they shorten it themselves to Wild Horses.
I have at home some setlists from other artists (nicked from the stage) and every artist shorten long songtitles.

PS: You remember well Mathijs.

There are few bands that interest me less than U2. I feel better having said that.
