The Company We Keep

Well, here's an ironic turn--my wife & daughter are away for the day, and while I usually enjoy my solitude, today I'm in the mood to talk. This is why you're seeing me on the frequent poster list for the day.

I think many of us use this forum (and others), just to cast a line and strike up a conversation--is it sad? I think not. It's not too often that any of us can have a conference call (so to speak) with people from the four corners of the world. The girls will be home soon, and then we'll have some quality family time.

Most of you (I believe) are in the same category. We aren't sad-sack lonely folks, but have active working & family lives outside of here.

Alright, I'll shut up now-- I just wanted to say that I feel happy today, and basically this--hello, it's a pleasure to know you.

It's a pleasure knowing you bassplayer :-D

But why aren't you cranking up some stones record with a bunch of friends or jamming all day?

Cheers,
Wuudy

Hello Mr Bassman.
bassplayer, I envy you; you seem to bee alone every once in a while...
Me with my wfie & the five kids & all their friends & all our realtives
I´m very seldom alone... Om the other hand you get just to not being alone...
At the same time I wonder why your folks keep leaving you like that
(and you sound moody at times... ?);
is it an arrangement that suits you both/the whole family

A close (Stones-)friend of mine has btw the Blues now,
his ex has found another and hes Deep Deep Deep down.
He nedd all your prayers not to fall to the very bottom.
I hope he can manage to take care if his two girls
that he is the best goddam farther in the world for.
And his ex can f*** herself.

Hey There BASSPLAYER! It IS a great thing that we have this little community of " Friends" outside of our usual circle of daily acquaintences. Being a Stones fan to the degree that many of us are is unique, even though world-wide there are millions of us. For many of us, the Stones have changed our little worlds for the better over the course of the many years we've followed them. This board provides a necessary outlet for us all!
