The scheduled Giants show is on a Thursday. Im assuming the reason why it wasnt arranged for the weekend would be because the stadium would be needed for a football game. With it being shared between two teams, its going to be in more regular use than any of the other NFL stadiums, surely (ie - every week)

There will be a second show (at least) at Giants Stadium and they will play the MSGarden in December or January.

The stadium stage usually takes 2-3 days (maybe more) to set up. Giants Stadium is booked for football on Sept 11 and for soccer on Sept 17. I think a September show at MSG is more possible than a 2nd Giants.
