where are the Stones suppose to play in Asia besides Japan and China? Will they travel to Thailand (missed opportunity in 2003) or elsewhere. If they perform in China, will they perform in Shanghai and will it be held at the same venue as the one proposed in 2003?

no one knows yet. probably not even the Stones!
I would like to think they'll make up for the 2003 cancellation and play Thailand this time.
Michael Cohl mentioned at the press conference about them hopefully "getting to China this time" by which I assumed he was implying the mainland as opposed to just Hong Kong.
