.... about the sad state of radio these days. There are plenty of great live acts playing blues based R'n"R in clubs, etc. but radio only gives a chance to pretty boys, rappers, pop tarts, etc. Is there anything we could do collectively or individually to let programmers know there is a vast market out there for this stuff (Good R'n'R music) . Yeah, I've got satellite radio and it's great, but today's kids don't have much to listen to. Just wanted to vent.
I feel your pain Elmo, which is why I don't listen to commercial radio. For me the best music can be heard on college or independant radio stations like our local KFJC and KFAT. Check 'em out on the web!
Hey, Chelsea, I've got Sirius. Since they have an all Elvis, why not an all Stones? Also, Andrew Loog Oldham is on there on the weekends (Channel 25 - Underground, I think).
