Good album. I wore the CD out. Like Moon Is Up and Brand New Car. They're Stones - totally stripped down. Although they could have changed the lyrics to

My love is long
and you're so sweet

Voodoo Lounge to me is the Stones last stab at greatness. I find that with the exception of Suck on the Jugular I can listen to it all the way through and to me it stands the test of time. Love the album the tour was just ok for me though. I liked he Steel Whels tour better.

Best post-Tattoo You album but that's not saying much. If they'd have dropped a few tracks and added You Got It Made and Honest Man it would've been a really good record.

Horrible by-numbers job for me, even worse than Steel Wheels.

ABB is VL part II.

I agree with 'Suck'...and You Got Me Rocking also smells a bit.

I was a butcher, I was a hooker, I was a baker, baking up bread, I was a firefighter putting out fires....what drivel.

Great record - great mix of songs - a proper Stones album (as a band)
My favourite of the post Dirty Work era
