yeah instead of covers they can play never played songs before
but in true stones fashion they wont do it , just like they will never
release the archives

And I'm quite sure they will release the archives one day. They must.

Melillo, I would love to hear Sway or winter performed live, I really would, but maybe if you reread my text (2 lines!) you might see that it was meant ironic (i.e. the tension between the first and second sentence).

Anyway, you are a bit of a demagog. All I said is that I'm not against a couple of covers, and you pick two beautiful Stones song that I also love and tell me I wouldn't like to hear them. Really logic. Sure I would love to hear Winter, for instance (though it's not likely to happen, Mick no longer has such raw voice).
But at the same time, I would always prefer to hear, say,That's How Strong My Love Is to really authentic Tumbling Dice again. Simply because it would be a much more unique experience.

If they performed Dobie's Gray "Drift Away" on this tour, they could make everyone happy. It would be a cover song; it's something they have recorded but never released; it would be a fresh addition to their set. And the Stones would put other artists' versions of this song to shame.
