Hello All...brand new to this site!!!

My question...are there sites online that someone can download shows from and then burn to disk for personal use?

Any info would be great.

Maybe this is a stupid question but how do you convert them onto a disc. I can play them but don't know how to extract that file so it is an mp3 on my computer. Can anyone help.

I haven't tried it yet, but that is a great question.

Are you referring to rockpassion.com?

Yes, I have listened to music before on that site, which is great. But I wondered if there was a way to put that music on a disc for yourself.

Right mouse click the item you want and select "save target as". Then select where you want to save the item. i.e. "My Music" or wherever.

I create CD's by using Windows Media Player and selecting "Copy To CD or Device" on the left of the window.

I think I've bust a button on my trousers....

I have Download Accelerator Plus installed on Windows XP. It's a free program and will let you save the files instead of listening to them. Once saved you can then burn to a CD using a program like Nero.[www.softpedia.com] - free trial.

Get DAP here [redir.speedbit.com]

You can often save a file by right clicking it and selecting 'save target as' on the mouse menu that appears.

Ian.

I must say something about this...
I have nothing against sharing music throught internet, but one thing make me crasy.Someone download title from internet in mp3 format, later burn on CD.After that trade with someone by post as real CD.And what we have??lose in quality when convert from CD to mp3 and lose in quality when convert from mp3 to CD.
why?

Thanks for the help everyone. Sumi- I would not trade something that is an MP3 source with someone because I know myself I can notice a big difference. But I hear what you are saying...

Dear Hound Dog,
I don't attack anyone for this.It is my experince.many 2002/2003 shows are mp3 sourced...unfortunaly...
you can do automated with "nero 6", nero will automicaly convert mp3 to wav.
you can use "cooledit" (better option, I personaly think that cooledit has better encoder).Simple open mp3 in "cool edit" and that song save later as wav...later burn in your favorite burning software.
people let's keep historical recordings in best possible quality.
I have a wish to return myself in age of LP's but never come again...

Or use iTunes. You can import, sort, and burn. All from the same program.
