Came close, I was 15 at the time and my next door neighbour had his VW Van loaded up and he asked me if I wanted to go. No go because my parents put a stop to that, who knows how many more parents prevented their kids from attending.

I visted the site about 20yrs ago and it was just a open field now I hear they turned it into a theme park, SHAME.

I´d only stand 3 full days in the same muddy place if it was for the Stones and then again, only if still in my twenties
Besides the WHO, there are not too many bands I´d still want to see today.
But those where the end-sixties - as for the festival-feeling, I do believe that it ment a lot to many people who have been there,later on people always tend to romanticize events
